Four top-class musicians have come together for a joint tour: vibraphone master Sasha Berliner, saxophonist Nicole McCabe, bassist Kaisa Mäensivu and drummer Mareike Wiening.

All four are critically acclaimed, all four have received numerous awards. While Mareike Wiening holds a professorship for jazz drums in Vienna and Zurich, her three fellow musicians all live and work in the USA and are under contract with the best labels. The extraordinary virtuosity and creativity of this quartet will make the exclusive concert in Espoo a musical surprise package!

Celebrating his 50th anniversary, guitar virtuoso Teemu Viinikainen will perform with his new trio! This new line-up continues to explore the sounds Viinikainen discovered for his solo album and combines them with a rootsy-sounding rhythm section.

The programme consists of new compositions that feature the deep blue tones of blues and the strong presence of jazz that is caught in the moment. In addition to Teemu, the band includes the legendary drummer Joonas Riippa and a talent of the younger gerneration Oliver Karttunen on acoustic bass guitar.
