The line-up includes pianist and composer Markus Niittynen, who is accompanied by saxophone player Joonatan Rautio and drummer Jussi Lehtonen, both recipients of the Finnish Jazz Association’s prestigious “Yrjö” -award and world-class players on their respective instruments. The group is rounded out by bass player and composer Jori Huhtala. Between the various group members, they’ve performed with some of best in the business, including Randy Brecker, Joe Lovano, Bob Mintzer, Tim Hagans, Peter Erskine and Mike Stern among others, as well as performed in tens of countries abroad.
