Professional musicians from the Espoo Big Band and the UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra act as instructors for the camp. The camp culminates in a concert organized in Louhi Hall, where each band performs the repertoire honed at the camp.

Ebeli Big Band is an orchestra made up of the students of the Espoo Music Institute’s pop and jazz department Ebeli. The school aims at fostering well-rounded and diverse musical skills in its students, supported by a teaching staff comprised of the very best local talent. VBB was founded in 1991 and since 2004 has been directed by Mika Karhunen. They have performed around Finland and Europe, including taking part in several national and international festivals.

Oulu Youth Jazz Orchestra is the youth Big Band of Madetoja Music High School and Oulu Conservatory. The purpose of the orchestra is to introduce students to different styles of rhythm music and big band playing, and to organize performances. The orchestra is led by Jaakko Jauhiainen.
